Subject: How to import *.ics files via Lotus Script ?
Feedback Type: Question
Product Area: Notes Client
Technical Area: Application Development
Platform: Windows
Release: 8.5.3
Reproducible: -Reproducibility-

Dear Codegeeks :)

I've wacuumcleaned the Domino Designer database for a solution, but it seams that it isn't a standard function in Notes, and many others must have the same issue !?!

Have any of you guys made a routine (LS) that can IMPORT one or more *.ics file(s) into the Notes calender ?

In fact I only need to read the files, and generate my own documents (newsletter) from the data programmatically.

I know you can just doubleclick on the *.ics file, and then Notes will automatically create an appointment, so there must be some code somewhere :)

Kindly and thx in advance!

Lars
